Polygon expands stablecoin infrastructure to Solana, Ex-Aptos advisor takes meme campaign to Meta, and Uber experiments with tokenized 24/7 yield funds. Pi Network prepares for its biggest ecosystem launch, an analyst predicts XRP surge up to $30, and Zcash upgrade eyes 3x speed. Lastly, Zypto brings BSC trading into its crypto app.

Let’s dive in.

Polygon expands stablecoin infrastructure to Solana

Polygon Labs is extending its stablecoin payments infrastructure to Solana. This gives businesses on the rival network a single connection to pull money in from bank accounts, move crypto across blockchains, and pay out to customers and suppliers globally.

The company said the expansion brings its Open Money Stack, a bundle of payments tools, to Solana for the first time. The pitch addresses a persistent headache in crypto payments. The easy part is sending the tokens, but getting money from a bank account into a wallet, converting it, and landing it back in a recipient’s bank typically requires stitching together several providers, each with its own integration and contract.

Open Money Stack collapses that into one technical connection and one commercial relationship, with businesses free to adopt the whole thing or mix individual pieces into their existing systems. Through the platform, a Solana business can connect bank, card, cash, and crypto funding routes and convert funds across networks like Polygon, Ethereum, and Tron, and deliver payouts into banks, cards, or wallets.

For instance, a remittance provider could take dollars from a sender, deliver USDC on Solana, and connect the recipient to a bank payout. Cross-border payments firm Kira is among the first to adopt Solana through the stack. Kira is using it to help clients turn stablecoin transfers into dollars in their bank accounts.

The move reflects Solana’s growing pull as a payments venue, having processed more than $5 trillion in stablecoin volume this year. Also, the network recently rolled out an institutional settlement standard with input from J.P. Morgan, which went live with its Alpenglow upgrade.

Ex-Aptos advisor takes meme campaign to Meta

Pseudonymous social media memer turned crypto advisor “BuzzlamicJihad” has left their position at Aptos. The former Aptos advisor has turned his attention to Meta, as they ramp up his trademark meme campaign for the company.

BuzzlamicJihad, also called Buzz, rose to prominence in early 2025. They had been posting on social media about Aptos since 2024. Their meme-posting eventually paid off as notable influencers got behind them, and their unofficial ‘community takeover’ of Aptos helped pump the token’s value.

Buzz officially joined Aptos as an advisor, with the aim of positioning it as a premium stablecoin network. A year later, the contract came to an end, and Buzz did not opt to extend.

The memer is now turning his attention to Facebook’s parent company, Meta. This is because his entire thesis around Aptos was based on its ties to Facebook. Last year, he mentioned how he made his money via Facebook advertising and strongly believed in the Facebook team. With a sizable $1.59 trillion market cap, Meta is 2,619 times bigger than Aptos.

Buzz says his approach this time is different, as he praised Meta’s strong fundamentals. He’s already made a post, backing Meta. He also claimed to have moved all communications off of Telegram and onto the Meta-owned WhatsApp.

A somewhat comparable case study is that of Roaring Kitty, a meme stock influencer who led the charge for those investing in GameStop’s GME stock. Through a stream of posts on Reddit, he gathered an army of investors to rally behind GameStop. This resulted in GME hitting an all-time high and a 2023 feature film, “Dumb Money,” based on the influencer’s antics.

Roaring Kitty did it for a stock that currently sits at a market cap of $11.85 billion. That makes Buzz’s challenge 134 times larger. The GameStop influencer momentarily returned to social media in 2024 after almost three years of inactivity. But since then, they have been quiet. Buzz, however, wants to help lead Meta into a new era.

Uber experiments with tokenized 24/7 yield funds

Ride-hailing giant Uber tested a way to keep its corporate cash earning yield around the clock while still having it available for payments. It used tokenized funds and bank deposits on the Canton Network, a privacy-enabled open blockchain.

Uber completed a pilot with HSBC, Franklin Templeton, Fireblocks, and Tradeweb, demonstrating how corporate treasurers could invest and access cash outside traditional market hours. The move allowed it to accrue 1.5 more days of yield compared to operations executed using traditional market funds.

The initiative aimed to tackle a practical problem for large companies: cash sitting idle in bank accounts earns less than money invested in short-term funds, but retrieving it can take time. Companies that need to make payments at night or over weekends often keep extra cash on hand rather than invest it.

In the test, Uber used HSBC’s tokenized bank deposits to purchase Franklin Templeton’s tokenized money market fund shares through Tradeweb, with Fireblocks providing wallet infrastructure. Uber could also redeem part of its holdings, including over a weekend, with the transactions settling together on the Canton Network.

The test comes as tokenization has risen to the public eye. Public companies are refusing to have their shares brought on-chain by venues operating under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Innovation Exemption umbrella. The likes of Microsoft, McDonald’s and Walmart are opting out of this possibility.

Banking figures tout tokenization as the next big thing for financial markets. Yet the tokenized asset market is still in its initial stages, with only about $40 billion in assets tokenized to date.

While the system remains a pilot, it offered a glimpse of how tokenized funds and bank money could work together to make round-the-clock cash management possible. For corporate treasuries, that could mean keeping more cash in yield-bearing investments. Another benefit is tapping those funds for payments when needed, without holding large amounts of idle cash in reserve.

Pi Network prepares for its biggest ecosystem launch

Pi Network released four tools for app builders and businesses, ahead of its November 17 to 19 Ecosystem Summit. Falling prices followed the token’s last two big product events. Now, enthusiasts wonder whether this latest update has any impact on Pi coin price.

The first change is that the developer portal where outside developers set up apps that use Pi logins and payments got a new layout. Settings such as access keys, app wallets, and domains now sit in one place.

Second, AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex can now package apps for SoloHost. That service lets people host apps on their own computers through Pi Desktop.

Third, Pi BlockExplorer, a public website that records network activity, now charts prices for Launchpad Testnet tokens. Lastly, PiVerify, Pi’s identity-check service for other companies, added duplicate-face and repeat live-person checks to catch fake accounts.

Pi’s design offers two routes to token demand. Companies pay for PiVerify in PI, and projects on Launchpad, Pi’s token-launch tool, must pool the PI they raise. In the past, PI hit about $0.27 before Pi’s March 14 Pi Day release, then fell roughly 33% in a week. After the June 28 Pi2Day launches, it slid about 12% over eight days.

Pi has not disclosed PiVerify prices or client numbers. It has set no date for the first live Launchpad token either. The online summit runs November 17 to 19 with app demos and a planned hackathon. Launchpad timing and PiVerify demand remain open going in.

Analyst predicts XRP surge up to $30

XRP, the native token of the XRP Ledger, joined the market-wide sell-off last week. While the short-term structure remains fragile, a popular analyst argued that the bigger picture still points to substantial upside if a monthly resistance is claimed.

EGRAG CRYPTO’s long-term thesis centers on XRP’s monthly chart. In it, the asset is currently trading between the 33-month exponential moving average (EMA), acting as dynamic resistance, and the 77-month EMA, which he views as major macro support.

He believes the cross-border token could continue ranging between those two boundaries before a larger breakout develops. His “magic number” is 1.65, and a surge past that line on the monthly chart could open the door toward increasingly aggressive targets of $8, $13, and eventually $30.

Given XRP’s current price struggles, it almost sounds impossible to imagine any of those, even the most modest at $8. However, EGRAG has been a long-term believer in the asset’s spectacular future.

In a separate update, the analyst reiterated his $13.68 projection and pointed to another long-term pattern. In his view, that could also support a move to $8 and beyond. He also highlighted previous XRP accumulation phases in 2014, 2017, 2020, and 2023, claiming that each was followed by gains exceeding 500%. He admitted that history does not guarantee future repeats, but believes the current 2026 setup deserves attention.

In addition, there are claims that XRP may need to drop toward a long-standing historical demand zone against BTC before it can start its next major outperformance period. Analyst ChartNerd challenged the common view that XRP simply follows BTC, suggesting investors expecting an immediate recovery could be getting ahead of themselves.

Zcash upgrade eyes 3x speed

Zcash is preparing to triple transaction speed as its NU7 network upgrade is expected around November 5. The Zcash upgrade will reduce target block times from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, making transaction confirmations significantly faster. The activation is planned for block height 3,543,405, according to the network’s deployment schedule.

The upgrade introduces limits on shielded transaction activity, designed to improve network efficiency and protect wallets against spam. Meanwhile, ZIP 235 will remove 60% of transaction fees from circulation and place them into a reserve. The mechanism is intended to support future mining rewards as block subsidies decline.

Also, the upgrade preserves Zcash’s existing 21 million ZEC supply cap and four-year halving schedule. However, users still holding funds in the legacy Sprout privacy pool must move them before activation. NU7 will turn off version 4 transactions, which are required to spend Sprout funds, potentially leaving remaining balances unspendable.

Furthermore, node operators must upgrade their software to remain on the network’s consensus chain. At present, Zcash Foundation has released Zebra 7.0.0, which supports NU7 on mainnet and includes additional synchronization and security improvements.

The technical changes arrive as Zcash faces a separate debate over its community-grants funding system. ZEC has also suffered recent price weakness, leaving traders weighing network improvements against growing uncertainty over its future direction.

Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe recently proposed ending the automatic allocation of 8% of newly issued ZEC to the Zcash Community Grants program. Bowe’s proposal would redirect the allocation toward a reserve supporting future mining rewards.

Zypto brings BSC trading into its crypto app

Zypto App combines a BNB wallet with access to trading on BNB Smart Chain (BSC). This allows users to manage assets and swap tokens through its integrated PancakeSwap functionality. The offering brings wallet management and on-chain trading together within a single app.

The company describes the app as providing access to every asset on BSC, with PancakeSwap powering swaps on the network. This gives users a way to trade within the BSC ecosystem through the same platform they use to manage their holdings.

The offering connects two distinct functions: the BNB wallet provides access to assets on the network, while the PancakeSwap integration enables on-chain exchanges between tokens. Together, they position Zypto App as more than a place to hold BNB, extending its role into everyday trading activity.

Rather than presenting BSC support as a standalone wallet feature, Zypto emphasizes the combination of asset access and integrated swaps. The result is an app experience built around managing and trading BSC assets in one place.
