News & analysis
What is Succinct?
Succinct runs a decentralized prover network for zero-knowledge proofs, infrastructure that lets one party prove a computation was done correctly without revealing all of its inputs. It is built around SP1, an open-source zero-knowledge virtual machine that lets developers write provable programs in standard languages such as Rust, and it coordinates a marketplace where proof requesters are matched with provers.
PROVE is the network's native token. It is used for payments between proof requesters and generators, for staking by provers to back their reliability, and for governance. The mainnet and the PROVE token went live in 2025, and the network is used by a range of blockchain protocols to generate proofs.
As a recently launched token tied to evolving zero-knowledge infrastructure, PROVE is relatively new, so its ecosystem is still maturing.
