News & analysis
What is Pharos?
Pharos is a layer-1 blockchain network built with a focus on real-world assets and financial applications such as tokenization and stablecoin settlement. It is EVM-compatible and uses a parallel-execution design that the project says supports high throughput and sub-second finality, with application-specific networks that can run alongside the main chain.
PROS is the native token of the Pharos network. It is used to pay gas fees, for staking, for governance, and for ecosystem incentives. The token generation event and the network's mainnet launched in late April 2026, with a fixed genesis supply and a multi-year vesting schedule for team and investor allocations.
Pharos is very early in its life as a live network, so its real-world asset use cases, adoption, and ecosystem are still in their opening stages and unproven at scale. You can track the Pharos price and hold PROS in a self-custody wallet.

How is Pharos priced?
The Pharos price you see is an average of live trades from exchanges worldwide, weighted by volume so the busiest markets count for most. It refreshes continuously, day and night. Because it trades continuously and worldwide, the price can move sharply within a single day. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, and nothing here is financial advice.
Where can I hold Pharos?
You can hold Pharos in any non-custodial wallet, which means you control the private keys rather than trusting an exchange. Zypto App is a non-custodial multichain wallet where you can hold PROS and swap it into 24,000+ assets. PROS isn't accepted as a payment method yet, so it can't be used for real-world spending in Zypto.
