What is Moca Network?
Moca Network is a decentralized identity and reputation network, the flagship Web3 project from Animoca Brands. It aims to let people carry a verifiable identity and reputation across apps and chains, with privacy-preserving verification for both users and AI agents. Mocaverse is its consumer NFT collection and rewards layer, tied to products like Moca ID.
MOCA is the network's utility token. It is used to pay for transactions, identity verifications, and data services, and for community governance. The token launched in April 2024, and the project has been building toward Moca Chain, a dedicated layer-1 focused on cross-chain identity. As a newer identity network, much of its adoption still depends on partners integrating its tools.
