What is Fluid?
Fluid is a decentralized finance protocol that combines lending, borrowing, and a decentralized exchange on a shared liquidity layer, so the same deposited capital can support more than one function. It was built by the team behind Instadapp.
FLUID is the protocol's governance token. Holders vote through the Fluid DAO on parameters such as fees, risk settings, and integrations, and the token is also used to direct liquidity incentives. It arrived through a December 2024 governance vote that renamed the earlier INST token to FLUID at a one-to-one rate.
Fluid runs on Ethereum and has deployed across layer-2 networks including Arbitrum, Base, and Polygon.
