What is Bityuan?
Bityuan is a Layer 1 blockchain network focused on payments, peer-to-peer trading, and decentralized application development. It is built on the Chain33 framework and uses a multi-chain, parachain architecture, which lets projects launch their own token-based chains that connect to the Bityuan main chain. The network also offers wallet recovery features and supports cross-chain transactions.
BTY is the native coin of the Bityuan blockchain. It is used to pay transaction fees, secure the network, and act as the settlement asset for trades across the ecosystem, including non-native tokens exchanged through the network. Bityuan traces back to a 2013 origin in China, with mainnet parachain features added around 2019.
